Looks like fb is having some kind of nervous breakdown, or doesn't want to talk to me, or both. (okay, it's back! 8-P) This morning's prompt was 'dwarven centaur', but google offered me bull and ram centaurs. I should have gone with ram...
I zonked out this evening and didn't code tonight... Back to the beginning! I need to start over again, dongma? I have a nice world map and made an initial triangle which I want to use to start tiling a world polyhedron. I have this nice world rectangle to show everything all at once, circumference divided by 100 km/pixel wide by half that tall for which I am making up a wildly complicated coordinate system for the horizontal and vertical on the world map, the longitude and latitude spherical coordinates corresponding to that in radians and the corresponding XYZ cartesian coordinates which I can use to do dot and cross products. The XYZ coordinates should therefore be normalized to the surface of my sphere and we can add the radius back in pretty quickly, I think.
