Based on Cool Worlds-
'Is Sol Special'
and
'Multiplicity' for some planets in some systems.
At this point I know if there are planets, and if there are,
is there a hot jupiter or any other planet in closer than
roughly Mercury's orbit. My Multiplicity, the number of
planets seems to bee pretty wild... I should work on that,
but I want to get going with filling up the sytem.
Is there a Jupiter sized gas giant? Are there super Earths?
Anf if not, what is there?
The page is going to generate a procedural star system from a seed. Input a seed, please (the default is tau, or 2 pi), or click the button for a random seed number. And hit 'new star system' for a new star system...
Seed: 6.283185307179586, current pseudo-random # 0.6282746310002949
The way I turn my random number into a star mass, about 20.61% of the time we would get a brown dwarf this way. Therefore, there are a lot of them...
If the system is < .08 sols, 'roll' to see if there's a hot jupiter or any other planet in close.
The star mass is 0.15 sols, and luminosity is 0.0013 sols, goldilocks is 0.03 AU
The inner limit is 0.01 AU
The outer limit is 6 AU
The frost line is 0.17 AU
This is where we start 'building' the system, at the point where gas giants snow-ball into being...
0, no planets!
