So I have this terraforming crew on the south continent of  second world out from an orange dwarf fifty LY from Sol in 2486. A fast colony ship arrives unexpectedly, no warning until they decelerate into the star!

What can they do about it, and how serious a threat is a starship, or a fleet of colony ships?
