This morning's prompt is 'viper'.

So, I have some quads with strange top and bottom edges; degenerate ones of zero length and some which are one or two units wide. Some have zero length top and bottom and collapse out of existence! Others are properly triangles. Still others are actually double quads, but I need simple rules for subdividing any quad into triangle pairs, triples and double quads into pairs of triangle pairs!
