We have a point in space. Probably on the surface of a planet or moon that I am interested in. It has a position, an index within an array of similar points and it knows who it's neighbors are. We can subdivide the triangles formed by its neighbors into quads which are really triangle pairs which belong to that point because it's an original vertex, not a daughter formed by subdivision.

Now that I can find the column and row, I can pick a point randomly or by clicking inside the sinusoid. I can walk to a random adjacent tile and make it land or sea, blue or green, or use position to generate a seed for a not so random number and average them with adjacent heights and subdivide quads into triangle fans with vertices above or below sea level.

Yet another weekend of nothing much.

So, thinking about my sad little z-pocalypse romance, and there's a story about Brenda and their latest stray, a young woman or teenager a little older than Tom.

Gist of it is love and lost loved ones. Brenda had a dream, sent by a benevolent power, about her brother, presumed dead and undead, overseas, but what if his flight got back to this airport where she was and he was out there
