'Shopping' moment in Summer Wars

In Barrayar, Heroine Cordelia goes 'shopping'- off to the capitol during a civil war to rescue her unborn son sitting as a hostage in a jar... the climax is when she comes back with the Bad Guys' Head in a shoppin bag and undeclares the war.

There's a moment rather like that with Sakae, the great grand mother and matriach of the Jinnouchi clan. The black sheep of the family, Wabisuke Jinnouchi has just confessed to creating the AI that is causing so much trouble, proudly telling her that he could have done it without the money she gave him to get started... The shame and dishonor he's brought on the family, and the way he's mispent his talents; the gifts, innate and those bestowed on him as a member of the jinnouchi family, cause her to react in true colors.

She goes and grabs an antique naginata and runs up at him, just barely getting her one arm to cooperate and brings the blade to bear. The man falls back, knocking things over in his flight, and she pauses.

"On your feet and die like a man!"

At which point he remembers who he is, finds his composure and gets up, forcing the blade back bare-handed- luckily she's an old woman, and she doesn't really want to kill him...
