This morning's prompt is 'matchstick '.

Tom found it, of course he did, he was their best scavenger.

'It' was a single matchstick taped to the inside of a window pane in the door of a house. Tom left it be and showed his Mom, Carol, Ben and Brenda.

They talked about it for hours, days, weeks. They shelved it finally after they were almost literally at each other's throats...
