This morning's prompt was 'actor'.  I ended up with a clown, going for Shakespearean.

"Is that a clown?' Tom asked, pointing.

The figure shambled in a familiar way towards them, dressed in strange clothes and make up, white face-

"The ruffle around his neck is straight out of the Globe Theater," Ben said. "Although why a..."

The others, Carol, Tom and Brenda said it together, "If you can't stand not knowing..."

Ben groaned and finished, "Then go ask!" He looked around for more threats, then at a nod from Brenda went over and quieted the actor.

"Good night, sweet Prince."
