This morning's prompt is 'cough drop'.

A face, a place and something good, something bad and something ugly.

The coughing fit passed and the man realized a little girl across the aisle was offering him a cough drop.
"Thanks."
The little girl, mute, just shrugged. He took the cough drop and unwrapped it. The wrapper had some sort of fortune cookie affirmation, 'You will make a new friend.' He looked back to the girl.
"Will you be my-"
The girl was asleep and he felt disoriented. The room spun around while he clung to the armrests of his seat and then things went dark.

This is one of the things which makes us human, the capacity to imaging another very different point of view. When I dream of aliens, I don't imagine them as people so much as I imagine them as points of view trying to understand us, like the cat. Does that make any sense?
